Princess Diana's brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has announced the upcoming release of his memoir titled Swan Song: My Sister Diana. The book is scheduled to go on sale in the UK on September 22.
According to the author, the decision to write the book was driven by a desire to share his own memories and correct inaccurate accounts of his sister that frequently appear in the media. Spencer emphasized that he aims to portray Diana as a dynamic, loving, and charismatic individual, drawing upon his personal experiences.
Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 at the age of 36. She would have turned 65 this year. The memoir will be published by Penguin Michael Joseph.
